Justin Meyer
Deputy Director of Aviation
Marketing & Air Service Development

A 26-year veteran of the U.S. aviation industry, Justin rejoined the Kansas City Aviation Department in April 2014. As the Deputy Director of Aviation – Marketing and Air Service Development he leads the marketing, communications and customer service efforts for the Kansas City Aviation Department’s two airports. Additionally, Justin works with airline planners to increase flights and add new routes from Kansas City International Airport (MCI). Justin has been actively involved in the planning for Build KCI, the $1.5B new single terminal at Kansas City International Airport, where he advocates for the customer experience to be one of high accessibility and inclusiveness.

Andrea O’Hara
Executive Director
 Hotel & Lodging Association of Greater Kansas City

Andrea O’Hara is the Executive Director of the Hotel & Lodging Association of Greater Kansas City where she is responsible for representing the interests of hotel owners and operators within a five-county area. She is a 20-year veteran of the hospitality industry, working in hotel convention sales for Hilton and Marriott before moving into destination sales with Visit KC, Nashville Convention & Visitors Corporation, San Diego Tourism Authority and Visit Overland Park. O’Hara has served as President of the Meeting Professionals International Kansas City Chapter and is actively involved in other industry organizations, such as MHLA, SKAL and PCMA. In addition, she’s an alumni of the OP Chamber’s Leadership program. Originally from Tulsa, OK, Andrea has lived in the Kansas City area for 18+ years and now resides in Lenexa, KS with her husband and two dogs.

KC2026 FIFA World Cup Bid

Katherine assumed the role of Director of the KC2026 FIFA World Cup Bid after serving as Director of Marketing & Sales for the Greater Kansas City Sports Commission & Foundation | WIN for KC since early 2017.  After 15 years living and working in New York City and San Francisco, she returned home to Kansas City in late 2015 and was Executive Director of the 2017 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. She then helped lead Kansas City’s successful bid to host the 2023 NFL Draft as well as other major collegiate and national sporting events. In 2022, she was named one of the Kansas City Business Journal’s NextGen Leaders. She is a graduate of Central Exchange’s Emerging Leaders program and will complete the KC Chamber’s Centurions leadership development program in 2023.
