Plans are being made for the 2nd Annual PCMA Hospitality Career Exploration Day, sponsored by the Heartland PCMA Chapter. This year, the event will take place on Saturday, November 4 at the Overland Park Marriott from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

- If your HR department normally recruits from area colleges for entry level positions please let them know about this event!
- If your company offers a paid internship, please consider promoting the position through our Chapter at this event.
Many times, students are not aware of the just how diverse the hospitality industry is. This Hospitality Career Exploration day has a goal of opening their eyes and broadening their horizons for a life-long career in the Hospitality Industry.
The event was such a success last year that we needed to charge a small fee as well as place a limit on the number of attendees that we can host. An event registration link will be set up shortly and emailed to all attendees as well as promoted on the Heartland Chapter Facebook page. Ticket price for the program is $10 and will include lunch, free parking and a packed agenda!

- Opening General Session with various Hospitality Industry Leaders
- Lunch break with time to meet with companies offering Internships and entry-level positions
- Round table discussions with people in career positions, such as Hotel Sales Manager, CVB Sales or Convention Services, Banquet Chef, etc.
