Introducing the NEW Heartland Chapter Weekly Pulse

During my time on the board chapter emails and how we send them out has been a hot debate. Some say we do not send enough, some say we send too many, and some say they never read them because the subject does not apply to them. After research, more debate and lots of hard work from our communications committee I am excited to introduce the new Heartland Chapter Weekly Pulse.

We consistently send out emails just about every Thursday, so we have decided to make this a formal weekly newsletter. Moving forward you will receive the Weekly Pulse with only 2-3 articles/updates per week and most importantly all of our upcoming events will be listed at the bottom of each email. We will feature member spotlights, important chapter updates, event recaps, convene articles and much more. Some Thursday’s you might receive more than one email- when a new event registration is launched an email JUST about that event will be sent out as well so you are sure not to miss any of our fabulous upcoming events, no matter where you live in our 6-state region.

With this new weekly newsletter structure, we have decided to discontinue our quarterly newsletter, The Heartland Beat. While this newsletter always contained fantastic articles and updates on our chapter, they were sometimes months after events and programs had happened. With this new format, we can get you information quicker and when it is more relevant.

This is new, and will be a work in progress as we get feedback from members. Please do not be afraid to email us with your feedback. I hope as your work schedules allow you will keep up with the pulse of the chapter, maybe not every week but on a regular basis. Our small but mighty chapter continues to provide amazing educational and networking events and continues to grow not only in members but to be better for each and every one of our members. Through the Weekly Pulse, you will be able to keep up with all the latest and greatest happenings of the chapter.

Enjoy!
