Leyla was one of our two chapter scholarship recipients. Recipients recieved $500 in reimbursement towards their expenses for E3 conference.
Attending my first E3 conference was an exciting and enlightening experience. I was eager to meet new people, ready to absorb knowledge, and truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a dynamic event.
The keynote presentation by Nick Borelli from Zenus, Inc., on “AI Enhanced Events” was incredibly captivating and informative. Nick’s insights into how AI can enhance event planning and management were eye-opening. Understanding AI better has made me feel more confident and secure about its applications.
Beyond the sessions, the city tour of St. Louis was a memorable experience. Exploring the city in such a comprehensive way would have been impossible on my own. Our tour guide was not only knowledgeable but also made the tour engaging and fun. The standout moment for me was visiting Union Station and witnessing the spectacular 3D light show. The synchronized visuals and music created an unforgettable experience.
Overall, the E3 conference exceeded my expectations. I gained valuable insights into AI, data privacy, and event management while also enjoying immersive experiences like the city tour and the revenue game. I’m incredibly grateful to the Heartland Chapter and sponsors for awarding me this scholarship, without it I wouldn’t have been able to attend. This conference has enriched my understanding of the industry and left me inspired to apply what I’ve learned in my future endeavors.
