Dear PCMA Heartland Chapter Members,
I hope everyone is looking forward to the warmer weather next week! It is with great excitement (and gratitude) that I introduce myself as the new President of the PCMA Heartland Chapter. I am truly honored to have the opportunity to serve this incredible organization, and I look forward to working together as we continue to build on our chapter’s strong foundation.
Our industry has faced challenges the last several years, but the resilience and collaboration we’ve shown has been nothing short of inspiring. As your President, I am committed to ensuring that the PCMA Heartland Chapter remains a hub for professional growth, networking, and support. Together, we will continue to elevate the meeting and event industry.
I wouldn’t be in this position had I not gone to my first E3 and said, “put me to work!” By volunteering my time to the Heartland Chapter, I feel I’ve continued to develop new skills, collaborated with amazing members, and it has shaped my career path. This chapter is a reflection of all of us, and your involvement is what makes it thrive. I encourage you all to get involved whether it’s 10 minutes a month or 10 hours a year, volunteering comes with great rewards. If you’re interested in donating some of your time to the Chapter, feel free to let me know, and we’ll find a committee where you will thrive!
We have an exciting year ahead, filled with opportunities to connect, learn, and grow. Please mark your calendars for the following events:
Wednesday, April 23 – Best in Class (Kansas City)
Thursday, July 10 – Education Event (Kansas City)
Wednesday, September 17 – Lunch & Learn (St. Louis)
Thursday, September 25 – Annual Mini Golf “Tournament” (Kansas City)
Thursday, November 6 – State of the Industry (Kansas City)
I encourage you to stay engaged, participate in our events, and bring your ideas and energy to the table. Whether you’re new to the chapter or have been a member for years, your voice matters, and I’m eager to hear from each of you. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together and am confident that we will make this a year to remember for the Heartland Chapter. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, suggestions, or simply want to connect. My door is always open.
Here’s to an amazing year ahead!
