I originally joined the PCMA Heartland Chapter because: Networking.

My advice to a young professional embarking on their event planner/meetings business journey is: Do not be afraid to put yourself out there and network. Participate in as many opportunities to meet people in the industry (buyers and suppliers) as possible. Form friendships. These are people you might end up working within one way or another throughout your entire career in the meetings industry.

My favorite book author is: This is a tough one and changes depending on my mood. Probably J.K. Rowling.

My favorite movie of all-time is: Gone with the Wind.

People are surprised to learn that: I was captain of my high school basketball team (I am short). 

I like to unwind by: Reading.

I am grateful for: Everything!

What I have learned about myself during the pandemic is: I am a TERRIBLE homeschool teacher.

One of the things on my bucket list is: To live in Europe or Spain one day.
