What was the best thing about attending Convening Leaders virtually this year?
Steve: Attending a true virtual conference. I’ve attended a ton of virtual events over the course of 2020 but hadn’t had the chance to really experience a multi-day virtual event from the attendee perspective.
What was your key learning from CL?
Steve: Realizing that as much as we learned in 2020 about hybrid and virtual events we are still learning and figuring out what is needed for successful events moving forward.
Who was your favorite speaker/presenter and why?
Steve: 7 Change Actions: 14 Questions to Answer Before Designing Your Next Event with Ben Hindman. His energy was phenomenal and kept the group super engaged – the chat was lively – and I took away some great information.
What are you most excited about for 2021?
Steve: I enjoyed the Conversation Starter sessions so much chatting with strangers and learning about them. I can’t wait to get to do that again in person!
